[Webinar] 11k Vulns in First Half of 2020 as Patch Tuesdays Get Worse
August 25, 2020 • RBS
Is the vulnerability disclosure landscape getting back to normal? The trends suggest that they are. As the year progresses, we may see vulnerabilities exceed that of last year.
Our VulnDB® team aggregated 11,121 vulnerabilities in the first half of 2020, and we’ve found that IT teams and Vulnerability Managers are being inundated with hundreds of vulnerabilities within very short periods of time. Out of the entire first half of the year, just two days were responsible for 7.3% of 2020’s reported mid year count. Unfortunately for all of us, events like the Vulnerability Fujiwhara will eventually become the norm as Patch Tuesdays grow in volume.
How can organizations be expected to prioritize and remediate issues effectively? In this webinar, Risk Based Security’s Vice President of Vulnerability Intelligence, Brian Martin, will break down the mid year data and share his findings, which may assist IT security teams and Vulnerability Managers who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19. Reserve your spot today to see how the landscape is evolving and what we can expect for the rest of the year.
